Program Name: 100+ Women Who Care
About:
100+ Women Who Care are a Giving Circle of women committed to making a BIG impact by pooling donations to support Tucson-area nonprofits. Their model is simple:
They meet four times a year at their Big Give events for just one hour. Members nominate and vote on local recipient charities. Each member donates $100 per quarter to be gifted to the selected charity. With 600+ members, they raise $60,000 per meeting.
Since 2015, 100+ Women Who Care Tucson has donated over $1,200,000 to local charities-one dynamic hour at a time.
100+ Women Who Care (WWC) Tucson is for you if:
- Your time is limited, you have a heart for giving, and want to give back on a bigger scale.
- You are willing to commit to one hour every three months.
- The work being done by our local non-profits in the Tucson metropolitan area excites you.
- You want to be part of a caring and amazing group of women that make an immediate and positive impact in our community.
- 100% of your $100 donation goes directly to a local charity.
