What you will learn: Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings; using hands and power tools; basic safety; and carpentry work, including doors, framing, finishes, and more. The 21st-century skill of critical thinking, which employers identify as beneficial to a career in Carpentry, is incorporated into the program.
Courses: UBCT 105: Professionalism in Service, Construction Math, Basic Rigging; UBCT 107: Basic Safety, Hand & Power Tools, Blueprint Reading; UBCT 145: Carpentry I
Duration: 14 weeks
