About:
Administrative Support Volunteer – If you enjoy working independently on projects that require attention to detail, then this position is for you. Projects vary from week to week and include tasks such as filing, data entry, organizing and photocopying as well as other general office tasks.
Community Outreach Volunteer – Friendly, sociable, and dynamic volunteers are needed to serve as representatives of the agency at community events and fairs. Come be an ambassador of Emerge and help bridge the gap between those needing support and our services.
Donation Center – Put your group’s organizational and sorting skills to use. Fast and efficient volunteers needed to work closely with the Development Coordinator to assist with the sorting, inventory and organization of all community donations.
Environment Support – It takes a village, to support the ongoing needs of our facilities. We welcome volunteers who aren’t afraid to get down and dirty to help with the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities; landscaping, cleaning up crews, painting, etc.
Special Events – Friendly and outgoing volunteers needed to assist in a variety of different ways from set-up to the tear down after at our annual events such as Domestic Violence Awareness Month (October), and Holiday House (December).
