About: IT program to earn CompTIA A+ credentials. You will earn the skills and abilities to support computer PC hardware, software and peripherals, mobile device hardware, networking and troubleshooting hardware and network connectivity issues. Configure operating systems including Windows, iOS, Android, MacOS and Linux. Also includes security and the fundamentals of cloud computing.
Courses: UCIS 136: Computer Hardware Components. Exam prep: For CompTIA A+
Time commitment: 20-25 hours per week for lecture, lab, homework, reading & projects. Program starts the first day of these months (6 times/year): February, April, June, August, October and December
Program can be completed in 2-4 months. Costs $1,000 and is hybrid format.
