Program Name: Reset, A New Path to Stability
About:
Reset is a long-term support program for individuals and their families ready to navigate out of poverty and become self-sufficient. It includes guidance, crucial life skills, and support over a 12-24-month period. Participants press a figurative “reset” button, equipped with tools, connections and resources to keep them on the path to long-term stability.
Program benefits. Wrap-around services, robust referral network, access to financial assistance over the course of the program, personalized plan management and goal setting, network and social support building, improve your life and build stability.
Key Components. Consistent follow-up, success is built on the communal support of participants over a period of time. Trauma informed, recognizing that loss plays a role in the cyclical effects of poverty. Financial empowerment, education and asset-building, opening new accounts, building relationships with financial institutions. Holistic approach to the family, recognizing participants as whole beings with complex ecosystems. Self-esteem & visioning, getting to a place where one can make short term and longer-term goals. Human capital development, skills building and strength finder programming.
Admission requirements. Commitment to long-term growth and improvement, Pima county resident, 6-month minimum sobriety, employed a minimum of 20 hours/week, 18-55 years of age, adjusted gross income at or below 150% of federal poverty guidelines.
