About:
Case Navigators develop a health and housing stability plan to guide guests to permanent housing or an exit to an appropriate and improved circumstance. Guests benefit from recurring contact with familiar case workers with whom they have built rapport and trust through Individualized pathways to self-sufficiency and stable housing are prioritized within the project using a Housing First model in a low barrier center. All guests are able to access Case Navigation, however there is specialized focus for overnight guests.
Overnight Services: Guests seeking overnight shelter are welcome to sign up for our open-bed lottery. This lottery is held Tuesday and Friday between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. We offer this lottery to our unhoused guests. You must sign up by 11:00 AM and be present to accept a placement in our overnight program. During sign up, guests will meet with case navigators and complete a screening process to ensure safety and comfort.
Please note: Overnight guests are welcome to bring up to 3 bags. Animals are limited to 2 per guest and must be present during the lottery.
Day Guests morning program begins at 9am daily. When doors open, guests stop by the desk on their left to sign up for any of the services listed on the next page with our program assistants. While waiting to be called by a volunteer for chosen services, guests enjoy a hot breakfast. The line forms on the left-hand side of the dining area. Seconds are available, if desired.
Core Services:
- Guests may use washers and dryers for one load of laundry per day. (last load in at 10:30 AM)
- Soap, shampoo, and towels are provided. A shower monitor is available to assist guests.
- Emergency clothing to guests between 9:00 AM and noon.
- Our friendly case navigators can assist our guests with the following:
- Support with obtaining birth certificates
- ID vouchers
- VISPDAT
- And more
Respite: Noon to 4:00 PM The respite program provides unhoused guests and their pets a safe place to rest. During the afternoon program, guests are invited to rest in our quiet space.
- Mats and sheets are provided to rest on, and lights are turned low.
- Hot snacks are available at 1:30 pm.
- The center closes at 4:00 PM each day.
